(with a nod of appreciation to bemused, who started the whole thing by "borrowing" the concept from a totally unrelated website)

May I present...

8)The IS Game 8)

The concept is simple but offers endless opportunities to be creative....or anarchic......or just plain funny.

Here's how it works:

One person starts a sentence.
the next ends it and then starts a new one...

See - easy! The only rule is that the sentence starter must end with IS.

So, it might go something like this:

(post 1)
Sock hockey is.....

(post 2)
..... not easy to play on water.
Wondering where the time went is.....

(post 3)
.....probably where the time went!
Being licked on the nose is...

-------------------------------------

I will now take a deep breath, start one off, and hope that people join in to play!


Standing on one leg while reciting Shakespeare is...



Edited by Moderator to add:
A question was raised by a couple of members and the Platform 3 Moderators have decided to allow the half sentences for this game to end in ARE instead of IS if grammar calls for that.
