J.K. Rowling has recently been on the receiving end of online abuse after stating she wished Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom for economical reasons:

It is interesting following Jo's comments on the Scottish independence referendum - she seems to have a well thought out position, to my mind anyway.

There is also a bit of Potterverse information among the tweets - Jo suggests that  Pottermore will tell us what our patronus would be.
